Challenge

• Floor coring work needed to be done to the second floor of the building.
• Building was located in the heart of downtown Chicago.
• Design called for specialty finishes in conference room.

Solution

• Clarion Project Management worked with the restaurant directly below the space in order to coordinate floor coring up through the kitchen ceiling into the tenant bathrooms.
• Special care was taken to transport equipment and materials in and out of the building. Clarion Project Manager developed a schedule that included off hours work in order to complete construction in the occupied building.
• Clarion painters and carpenters constructed a conference room complete with Idea Paint on the walls.
