Challenges

• Maintain balance between high-tech company culture, comfortable office & warehouse setting.
• Build a custom structural steel mezzanine for employee breakout & marketing demo within office setting.

Solution

• Clarion’s carpenters built custom metal screen walls with perforated aluminum panels paying close attention to detail for polished-looking, safe and clean edges. Additionally, Clarion coordinated fabrication meeting with steel sub, carpenters and architect at off-site steel shop.
• Clarion installed a unique design combination of structural steel, light gauge framing and cementatious floor sheeting. Clarion was instrumental in determining how to fasten the varied materials.
• Specified lighting took longer than “off the shelf” styles. Clarion stayed on schedule by progressing with construction and using smaller spider lifts to delicately install lighting after improvements were made within the space.
• A few special elements of the project not shown above include: recycled glass countertops, executive shower and private bath, glass walls and doors provided by Clarion’s in-house glazing.
